Video link to wai kru

Kru means teacher and wai means respest in thai. It’s a tradition before a Thai fight for fighters to do the traditional dance called the Wai Kru to warm up and show respect for their teacher. Wai kru’s  vary from teacher and camps but almost all include checking the 4 corners of the ring and some show the skills of hunting some say thank you for the opportunity to become a fighter. Here  is  a  link  to  a   video  of  me  performing  a  wai  kru  at  the  end  i  go to  his  corner  and  go through  a  series  of  attacks  to show my intentions are to hunt him down and kill him. first with a samurai sword then a bow and arrow and finally finish him off with good old american six shooters

Getting ready to come home….I miss you all

It’s been a crazy 6 months and so much has happened. I was really happy with my win friday night everyone said it was the fight of the night but when your in the middle of it everything is a blur. I did feel after the first round like i had won that round which surprised me because its not really my style to come out banging and i really think the big difference was just good training with Robert and kay. His clinch is his strong point but his one weakness was he used the same technique over and over again so i didn’t need to work on a bunch of stuff just what i needed to defeat his bodylocks. I did feel kinda bad when he was climbing out of the ring and i was wearing his belt, it was a sense of pride for him and i took it. Don’t get me wrong i didn’t lose any sleep over it but i did have a hard time sleeping because my body was beat. I only remember getting hit once that made me see stars. It was the leg kicks that did there number i was limping out of the stadium my left leg hurt so bad i almost went to the hospital. He caught me with a good body kick kudo’s to him for that one it was set up pretty nice. I feel like I’m just starting to get a handle on some of this and now its time to head home. I wish i was younger but this is really the end. Can’t wait to see all of you soon thanks again for all the support

Open class belt is mine !!!!!

man i feel like i got run over last night. Fight went 5 rounds i won every round and a unanimous decision.  It felt really good when they put his belt around my waist I  wanted it really bad.  His  leg kicks were harder than normal and one of my shins is pretty beat up and i have a couple bruised ribs but its was worth the limping around today. The Jim’s Body Shop shorts are undefeated so far.

30 minutes to game time…

leaving in a few minutes this is my last chance and most likely my last fight ever. I feel a little different tonight i dont feel so much pressure i just want to do good. Fighting doesn’t scare me but letting you guys down or looking like a hack out there is what makes me nervous. I feel like i’m ready to go to war i have tried to box this guy but thats not really my style and i want to bring the kind of game that i can play well. Mostly a lot of powerfull punches and rib cracking knees i want to finish him in three but if it goes to 5 thats ok because the last 2 rounds seem to work to my advantage…..thanks everyone ill post again in the morning. love you all!

Last hard training before fight friday…

It’s been a good run but im ready to come home. This friday is going to be a tough fight but I feel I’m as ready as I can be, not much is going to change in 3 days. Thanks to all my friends that helped keep me going through the tough times and the good.  All my joints really ache and my hands are really sore i need a couple of days to rest. If this fight goes really well for me I want to fight at patong stadium before i leave but we’ll have to see. Thanks again Jim for letting me use your site to blog i get emails from people all over the world telling me how cool it is, and its helped me a lot. gotta run will post again before fight….love you all
